Cory grew up in the Oakwood school district and is a 1999 graduate from Oakwood High School.  He has a bachelor’s in mathematics from Beloit College and a master’s in statistics from the University of California – Santa Barbara.  He currently lives and works in Austin, Texas as a statistical analyst for Early Warning Services where he helps protect the global financial system from fraud.

Cory’s father, Bob, is the ranger at Kickapoo State Park and has worked there for over 25 years.  Some of the fondest memories Cory has of the park are from running cross country and using the many trails in the park for training and the Fun Run course for meets.  Give A Kick has brought Cory many challenges and pleasures and he looks forward to those yet to come.

Becky received her bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Illinois State University. She is currently the Director of Communications for the School of Social Work at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Formerly, she was a senior graphic designer in the Advertising and Marketing Communications Department at Carle Foundation Hospital. In addition to her duties with Give a Kick, she works with numerous local businesses as a freelance designer and is also a member of CUDO, (Champaign-Urbana Design Org.) and the Monticello Chamber of Commerce.
